This month, read about 2 major milestones that SEE Turtles has reached, learn more about sea turtles on our website, help a photographer protect turtles, and join us for a presentation in Berkeley, CA.

100 People and $50,000!

SEE Turtles recently reached two major milestones.  One hundred people have now gone to visit turtle conservation sites through tours and volunteer programs.  Our project has generated more than $50,000 for local conservation efforts and turtle communities through donations, fees, grants, and spending on tours.

Featured Trip: Baja Camping Adventure (Nov 3-10)

Join SEE Turtles co-founder Dr. Wallace J. Nichols for a unique camping adventure in Baja California Sur.  Camp in the Sea of Cortez and Magdalena Bay, kayak in waters teeming with ocean wildlife, and participate in sea turtle monitoring with local researchers.  Cost: $1,795 pp includes everything but airfare.

New Content on SEEturtles.org

We are adding new content every day.  Visit our site to learn about sea turtle communities and conservation efforts in Baja, Costa Rica, and Trinidad & Tobago, as well as an expanded section on turtle watching, and new pages on each species (4 of 7 so far and the rest coming soon).  www.seeturtles.org

Turtle Action: Support Conservation Photography

Strong, emotional images are critical to protecting sea turtles.  But in this economy, most organizations cannot afford to purchase expensive photos.  That's why photographer Cory Wilson is raising money to photograph turtles in South Carolina and share them with turtle groups.  Anything you can donate will help, visit this site for more information.

Join Us for a Presentation in Berkeley (June 30th, 7 pm)

SEE Turtles co-founder Dr. Wallace J. Nichols will give a presentation on ocean-friendly living at the OCSC Sailing School in Berkeley California.  Click here for directions.

Have a great summer and get in touch with any questions!
