Staff Available for presentations

Dr. Wallace J. Nichols: One of the world's leading sea turtle conservationists, J. has worked with ocean wildlife for two decades.  He has written children's books, been featured in documentaries, and been on tv's Animal Planet.  He is based near Santa Cruz, CA.  More about J. here.

Brad Nahill: A co-founder of SEE Turtles, Brad has worked in sea turtle conservation and ecotourism for 10 years, personally bringing hundreds of people to nesting beaches in Costa Rica.  His presentations focus on turtle biology, threats, and conservation efforts.

Zander Srodes: An award-winning young conservationist, Zander wrote the Turtle Talks Activity Book, which has been reprinted in several languages and has been given to more than 100,000 children worldwide.  His hands-on presentations get kids out of their chairs and engage them.  He is currently a college freshman in Florida.

Presentation Costs

We request a donation of $100 - $200 for these programs depending upon the speaker, which will be used to further our mission of turtle conservation.  Dr. Nichols generally has a higher fee. Depending on your location, we may require travel costs if we will not already be nearby on travel. For schools with fewer resources, we'll make efforts to present at no cost.

We also offer inspiring assembly presentations starting at a $400 donation.

Travel Schedule

Our staff is available throughout the year in Portland (OR), San Francisco (CA), Seattle (WA), and Northern Florida. We will be in Philadelphia & Washington DC in March, 2010 and possibly Providence (RI) and New York in February.

Our staff travels frequently, contact us if you are interested and we'll let you know if we can make it.
