Six of the seven sea turtle species are threatened with extinction by human activities like poaching and fishing.  The good news?  In places where communities come together to protect the reptiles and their habitat, their numbers are going up.  

SEE Turtles supports organizations in Costa Rica, Mexico, and Trinidad by connecting travelers and volunteers with important conservation programs.  We have created a fund to match donations to these organizations from travelers, volunteers, and concerned people from around the world.  Donations are accepted through our fiscal sponsor, The Ocean Foundation.
