Worry-Free Cancellation Policy

Here at SEE Turtles, we want you to be able to book your turtle conservation trip with confidence.

Here is how our cancellation policy works:

  • If we ever need to cancel a trip, whether it’s due to natural disaster, not meeting our minimum number of travelers, the pandemic, or any other reason, we will give you either a 100% refund or put the money paid toward a future trip, your choice.

  • If you decide to cancel, we have fees depending on how far out from departure the cancellation is made. We charge these fees because we incur costs when someone books with us, including credit card fees, staff time, and other costs. In addition, we make payments to our local partners which are not always refundable.

  • All cancellations fees paid are 100% usable on a future trip with no penalties or expiration, with the exception of cancellations made within 60 days of departure. In those cases, payments to local partners has been completed and we are not able to get refunds on those payments.

  • Below is our fee schedule:

    • 180 days or more prior to departure: $100 per person

    • 120 to 179 days prior to departure: $300 per person

    • 60 to 119 days prior to departure: 50% of expedition fee per person

    • 59 days or less prior to departure: 100% of expedition fee per person
